Shark Tank - Research Translation Challenge

Do you have a great translational research idea that could use some extra support? Make your pitch at this year’s TropiQ Townsville Research Symposium!

This year’s Symposium will pilot the new Shark Tank Research Translation Challenge. In this session, THHS clinical teams will pitch their ideas for translational projects to a panel of judges. On the day, judges will award cash prizes, totaling up to $25K.

Translational health seeks to apply the findings from previous research to clinical practice for improved health outcomes for individuals, communities, and the functioning of the health system. Translational projects are those where there is good evidence to support clinical practice change for improved patient care and/ or service delivery. It may be implementing a new practice not currently being done, and/ or, stopping or altering a current practice.
